We all have our opinions on masks.

We all have our opinions on masks and all the conspiracies behind COVID-19.  The truth is none of us know the true impact of the virus, what is safe and what is not, or whether wearing a mask helps slow the spread.   All we can do is listen to our healthcare experts, who spent years earning a degree and studying to learn what they know.  The pandemic we are facing is new and never been experienced by anyone living whether a healthcare expert, political figure, school administrator, preacher, or Facebook specialist.   We all have our reservations about how reliable the numbers are or is there a political agenda behind this, but one thing I do know is the virus is real and it is in South Africa  and all around us.   We are all facing uncertainties that have many unknowns and many of us don’t know what to believe anymore including myself, but today I'm being told that a mask might help slow the spread so I will mask up for my elderly grandmother...

The Dark Truth of Valentine’s Day-

Should followers of Christ Jesus celebrate the Feast of the Wolf, known as Saint Valentine’s Day? Do professing believers really understand that if they recognize Lupercalia, or participate in the annual celebration of this ancient pagan festival of lust, that they are in no way pleasing God?   Do believers really know about the origins of this unholy holiday and that it was promoted through the ages by Papal Caesars, who fully adopted and carried on the lascivious rituals of heathen nations? Shouldn't the disciples of Jesus today heed God’s warning to NOT adopt CUSTOMS used to worship or honor false gods? Why DO Christians observe this day with other unbelievers? Valentine’s Day is not just an innocent Hallmark holiday.  A study of ancient history will reveal that ancient heathen nations, who had fallen under Roman rule, had begun to adopt the hodgepodge state religion of Rome, during the reign of Constantine the Great, however, they weren’t anywhere close to agreeing to aban...

Faith, a Principle of Action and Power

LOCAL PRIESTHOOD LEADER MESSAGE  Elder Dunstan G. B. T. Chadambuka, Area Seventy    'It took us exactly eight days from the day we met the missionary couple to the day we were baptized.'  Towards year end of 1989, a friend of mine, Gregory Mutete, came home in our then small township of Dangamvura — situated in Mutare, Zimbabwe. He reported to me and Christopher Bangwayo — our other friend — that he had secured employment as a gardener from a missionary couple named Grant and Sharol Wilson. They had offered him a book called the Book of Mormon, but he had refused to take it — wanting first to confirm with the two of us. As a group of three tightly knit teenage friends, we all had to agree before deciding to embark on any form of adventure, which we believed this was going to be. Little did we know that this was a beginning of a journey that would try our faith to the limit. We were skeptical about these missionaries — based on the lessons we had received in scho...

Spirit Empowered

The church is to be a Spirit-empowered evangelistic people on mission in the world, passionate to see lost people meet Jesus Christ as Savior, God, and Lord. Any church submitting to the Holy Spirit and obedient to Scripture wants fewer divorces, addictions, thefts, and abuses and knows the only way to see that happen is to make more disciples. The church loves people and is continually and painfully aware of the devastation that is wrought in this life and in the life to come for those who are not reconciled to God. Therefore, while not imposing religion on anyone, the church of Jesus Christ is to constantly be proposing reconciliation with God to everyone.

In these trying times don’t compromise your faith.

The dissemination of information Is not one dimensional in the things of the Lord Jesus Christ, often in times, we read about situations were God used inconspicuous people in the bible to advance his purposes about different situations, from David to Gideon, we saw God using his hand immensely in this regard to fulfilling his purposes. Many people have ignored the voice of the Lord speaking into their lives because of the pseudo perceptions that only prophets can hear and disseminate information from God. The bible says in Acts 2:17 “In the last days, says God, I will pour out my Spirit on all people ” . This is the spirit that allows God to speak into your life and other divine interventions concerning your life. Never in your life ignore the voice of the Lord because of self-doubt. In these last days be warned to never follow the popular opinion because the repercussions are death and pain eternally. Many people have made money the center of it all to a degree that they...

THE ART OF WAR: SM MASEKO

Eventually you will have to fight. life is all about war, the things you have accomplished today are as a result of your victories of some war. you fought your way out of your mother`s womb you have somehow written a test, you went for an interview, the list goes on and on eventually leading towards your victories. a good fight is determined by the number of changes you have brought in to the broader spectrum of the community  obviously the changes have to be good.  if you spill blood for you to have a meal or have a nice car to drive and a nice house to live in   you are not participating in a war a war of life but you are showing how vulnerable you have become that you do not believe in your own strength to a point were you invite evil powers to cheat the system and fight for you.

The big interview

The is nothing as nerve wrecking like a job interview, you are required to prepare possible questions while at it you must figure out how to answer those questions by yourself, there are lot of dos and don’ts involved but the truth of the matter is that the is no right or wrong answer during a job interview session. Interviews are meant to assess the potential of a candidate and to check their knowledge about a particular field of work or responsibility. I was invited for a job interview in a certain company for a position of an Editorial Specialist and the questions that where asked during that interview were way different from what I have previously prepared. I was expecting something like “tell us about yourself, what are your strengths and weaknesses” but things went south and at this point I was frustrated because my preparations have been blown out. I had to stand on my toes and come up with a contingency plan to cover up for the blown plan, I completely ...

Where we come from .

Where we come from there's only one definition of success.   Your successful when you own a car and a personal home. But life doesn't always work like that .  Each person should have his own definition of success.   To me success is constant cashflows with growth. That's what matters to me.  I can get R500k first thing I think about is how do I turn that R500k to R2 million or how can I make atleast R50k a month from that R500k.  I would not buy a personal home with R500k unless I already have consistent cashflows.  You can use the R500K to start a business that can make you R50k a month or R20k a month use that R20k to save up to build your house.  Think about it. Motsepe is a billionaire but still goes around borrowing money.  Why? Why not use his own money and dry up his bank account? Because he understands that cashflow is leverage.  Your father dies . Leaves you with R1 million . You use that R1 million to build a house. A year...

Creative Thinking.

Formal Creative Thinking Of course it is possible to think creatively all the time. There are some people who simply fizz with new ideas and seem to see everything slightly differently from those around them. These are the people who are always asking ‘ Why? ’, and ‘ Why not? ’. They are natural problem-solvers and innovators. However, for most people, creative thinking requires more effort. They prefer to save their creative thinking for when it is really necessary. Typical examples of times when you might take the time to use creative thinking techniques include: When you are facing a major problem or issue , and you cannot see an obvious way forward. At times of change , when it is hard to see what might lie ahead, and you want to think about possible scenarios. When there is   a lot of disagreement  about what needs to happen next, and no compromise seems possible without a lot of effort. When you need something new , that hasn’t been tried before, but you are not sure wha...

Cowardice moves helps sometimes

Don't spend much time in the battlefield because you will exhaust your resources and be clumsy, fight then leave while you still have energy. There's an attack I call "lightning and thunder attack" it happens within a twinkling of an eye but makes a huge impact you never know where it comes from but when it attacks you hear the sound of a thunder that a lightning has struck. When one adopts this form of fights they increase their possibilities of winning in life most people stay much longer in their battlefield when they see that they are dominating and are in control of the situation but that is not good at all because you give the enemy enough time to study your moves and use them against you. Chapter one Take what you have and fight with it. Ever heard of David and Goliath story?, it is not about the amount of ammunition you have but the courage and capacity to go to the battle ground trusting what you have. Most often in times the enemy has a tendency of ...

The question of KARMA

Before God the creator could form a person he firstly founded a suitable place for him to stay putting into consideration everything that a men will need, that is why everything you see is for the benefit of men, the trees, rivers, animals and a whole lot of things that we can and cannot see was created to form comfort in the dwelling of men. Everything that might or will try to course discomfort into the lives of men God has already spoken to mother nature that what ever that is not balanced must be balance in the name of karma, this meaning that men are not to seek for vengeance because it is already in the system of mother nature, but for some reason if a man is eager to get revenge he also will be punished for doing that which is outside of his jurisdiction. On earth everything is available and ready what humans do is to just activate, when you pray God know already what you will say but he can't activate that which you don't want thus we have to pray without ceasing t...

THE TEARS OF WRONG MARRIAGE

Warning To Every Bachelor. — Part One ⚠ — This Warning Is for brother's while sister's own is coming up in 2nd Part) .....A friend of mine (Pastor) was opportune to honour wedding ceremony of one of the senior Pastor in the ministry years ago. The wedding was glorious, successful with many spiritual church leaders in attendant — The bride 👰 was also sparkling on her best outfit 👗 with smile blossom all over. As I said, he is well renown senior Pastor in the ministry even till date — but unfortunately he might end up without having any children on Earth. Fast — Forward ⏩ ....✍ Few weeks after his wedding, his lovely wedded wife called his attention and said "Sir, I don't think this marriage can work? 😲 After much persuasion, he discovered that his beautiful wife is at the edge of divorcing him. This is a man who had served God for decades in the ministry from his youth — standing before the wedding chapel with his wife, vowed to love, c...

THE HIDDEN TREASURE BENEATH THE EARTH

THE HIDDEN TREASURE BENEATH THE EARTH By Solomon Maseko Growing up I would hear stories about how bad mining is and how does it affect our health as community members, well, I have finally found the truth through MENAR Academy and the truth is, mining is awesome! Both for our pockets and the environment as well, yes ‘environment’, while on the excavation I was expecting dust and unfriendly situation but I was proven otherwise which led me to asking ‘‘why there is no dust but the machines are drilling?’’ the answer was simple and these are the words of the Khanye Colliery mine manager Guy Thompson ‘’because we want a healthy working environment for our employees we use the best of equipment’s to keep the space clean and dustless’’ simple. Mines play a huge role as well in the communities’ development programmes by developing infrastructure and enhancing the community member`s economic statuses by giving them sustainable jobs in the mines, on the other hand our governmen...

The 36-year-old HIV.

By Solomon Maseko Human Immune Virus (HIV) was firstly discovered in 1983, this meaning that we are currently in 2019 we have been knowing about this disease for 36 years but there is no cure even after three decades. The truth is that we either don’t have the cure at all or we have scientists who have no interest in putting their time in finding the cure. We have great technology we can change genders we have phones that can bend around our arms and some can detect heart beat yet an old dilapidated virus from 1983 still has no cure. 36 million people are infected with this disease, the ARV is a Multibillion-Dollar project meaning that if it happens that we find the cure many companies will be shut down and the source will run dry financially. These people don’t create cures but create customers that will forever depend on them, with the level of technology growing rapidly we can attach HIV and get rid of it just like that, I don’t know w...

THE PRICE TAG OF A SUNDAY SERVICE.

the Kanye West story. Letter to Christian Community. By Solomon Maseko Luke 14 v 26-27   “If you want to be my disciple, you must, by comparison, hate everyone else—your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple.   And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple. Jesus is calling people to follow him in discipleship, and then he’s reminding them that it’s like building a tower that you don’t want to leave half-finished because you don’t have enough commitment or enough resources to finish it. It’s like going to war and realizing you don’t have enough soldiers to win the battle and defeat the enemy. In January 2019, Kanye West began his Sunday Service performance series in Calabasas, California, with the choir group The Samples and other collaborators performing a combination of hymns and secular pop songs rewritten with Christian theme. Fol...
