But life doesn't always work like that .  Each person should have his own definition of success.   To me success is constant cashflows with growth. That's what matters to me.  I can get R500k first thing I think about is how do I turn that R500k to R2 million or how can I make atleast R50k a month from that R500k.  I would not buy a personal home with R500k unless I already have consistent cashflows.  You can use the R500K to start a business that can make you R50k a month or R20k a month use that R20k to save up to build your house.  Think about it.
